Election of representatives
The local branch board consists of seven representatives, including the main union representative and the president. In addition, three deputy representatives are elected. The board members are elected by and among the members at the annual meeting, normally for two years at a time. Each year, half of the board is up for election, and three alternate representatives are elected for one year at a time. The main union representative and president are elected by separate elections. |
