Forskerforbundet's members in the Church of Norway and other organizations organized in KA have their salaries determined by a combination of central and local negotiations.
KA – Employers' organization for church-based businesses is an employer and interest organization for enterprises with church/Christian roots. The majority of the enterprises that are members of KA are the local and national bodies of the Church of Norway.
Forskerforbundet has approx. 10 members in enterprises organized in KA.
The central negotiations in the KA area take place between the main associations and KA. Forskerforbundet participates in the negotiation committee Unio-KA.
The local negotiations in KA take place between the employer and the trade unions at the individual enterprise. It is the local union representatives in the Forskerforbundet who negotiates wages for you locally.
