NAR Life and Disability Insurance (Mandatory)

NAR has a mandatory life and disability insurance program for all members. Individual members can, however, choose not to attend the insurance program.

The insurance program costs NOK 134 a month. The cost is deducted from your salary, together with the NAR membership fee.

When you register for membership you will receive a brochure describing the insurance program in detail (in Norwegian) You are also welcome to contact NAR's insurance office; by telephone +47 21 02 34 30 or by e-mail forsikring@forskerforbundet.no.

All new members will automatically join the insurance program. If you decide not to join, you must sign a declaration and send it to the NAR insurance office. The declaration form will be sent to you as part of the information you receive from us after joining NAR.
